Meet Bean Beanland, star of Happy Heat Pumps

Bean Beanland features on Evan Davis’s podcast Happy Heat Pumps as the resident expert because Bean knows all you could ever want to know about heat pumps. And you can tell Bean what you want him to tell the govt about home heating too, because he’s someone they listen to.

Meet Bean yourself on Wednesday 5 March 2025 (6.30-9.30 pm) at the OneClimate Centre: Hedgerley Wood, Red Lane, Chinnor, Oxon OX39 4BW.

There are no tickets – entry is free – but donations to our charity, the Hedgerley Wood Trust, are very welcome.

There is also free parking. Do car share if you can.

Please let Anuradha know by WhatsApp on 07590-261-065 if you would like to come, and how many extra seats you will need if you are bringing family or friends – the more the merrier.

If you can, bring along something veggie or vegan to share (e.g. bread, cheese, hummus, salad, cake, or a bottle of juice or wine). Sharing food and a glass of something adds to the already-friendly atmosphere. But if you can’t, don’t let that stop you coming!

NB: The evening will be recorded, and an edited version transmitted online. Please let filmmaker Peter Armstrong know if you would rather not be in the edit, and he’ll make sure you’re not included.

The event is a collaboration between Bucks Community Energy and the Hedgerley Wood Trust. HWT is a charity that uses media innovatively to educate and engage the public on climate and global justice.

Its latest innovation is the Mycelium Map (mymap.eco), which displays the ecosystem of eco-groups springing up across the Chilterns and their activities and events. To find this event on the Map, go to mymap.eco, ask the search for the OneClimate Centre, and you’ll see it on its events listing.
